HAZARDOUS WINTER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE. BLIZZARD CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE. A POTENT ALBERTA CLIPPER WILL MOVE THROUGH SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN ON WEDNESDAY BRINGING 10 TO 25 CM OF SNOW, STRONG WINDS, BLOWING SNOW AND A RISK OF FREEZING RAIN. SNOW WILL BEGIN TO MOVE INTO SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN ON WEDNESDAY MORNING AND QUICKLY SPREAD EAST INTO MANITOBA BY THE AFTERNOON. A SWATH OF 10 TO 25 CM OF SNOW WILL ENCOMPASS A LARGE AREA OF SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN BY WEDNESDAY EVENING WITH AREAS NEAR THE TRANS CANADA HIGHWAY AND SOUTH TO THE US BORDER HAVING A RISK OF FREEZING RAIN. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST WEDNESDAY EVENING. STRONG WINDS, GUSTING 80 TO 100 KM/H, BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WILL BRING REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW AND MAY CAUSE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS. THESE CONDITIONS WILL TAPER OFF WEDNESDAY EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. A RETURN OF COLD ARCTIC AIR WILL BE USHERED IN BEHIND THIS SYSTEM ON THURSDAY.
