He was first introduced to a 13-year-old Spears in 1995 and secured her first record deal with Jive Records two years later. Britney Spears’ long-time manager Larry Rudolph who guided and shaped her career for over 25 years has resigned amid reports she has retired from music. The BBC is reporting that Rudolph sent a letter to Spears’ co-conservators Jamie Spears and the court-appointed Jodi Montgomery, Rudolph writes that “It has been over 2 12 years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus. Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire.”

He adds, “I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”

Deadline was first to report the news of Rudolph’s resignation as Spears’ manager. The news of Rudolph’s resignation is the latest dramatic development in Spears’ attempts to end her conservatorship, which for 13 years has seen her conservators, who include her father, Jamie Spears, controlling many important aspects of her life including her finances, her relationships with other people and personal decisions about her health. In a now-infamous June 23rd court hearing, Spears told the judge overseeing the arrangement of her conservatorship that Jamie Spears and others including Rudolph, although he was not directly named, “should be in jail.”

“The people who did this to me should not get away,” Spears said to the judge, adding, “Ma’am, my dad, and anyone involved in this conservatorship, and my management, who played a huge role in punishing me when I said no Ma’am, they should be in jail.” Rudolph was first introduced to Britney Spears, then 13, in 1995 and secured her first record deal with Jive Records two years later. At times the former entertainment lawyer worked as both Spears’ manager and legal representative in notable deals such as her fragrance deal which would go on to make hundreds of millions in sales.

Spears left Rudolph’s Reign Deer Entertainment in 2004 but returned in 2007 at the behest of her father Jamie according to a New Yorker report. Through Reign Deer, Rudolph has also managed Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Avril Lavigne, Backstreet Boys, Toni Braxton,, Nicole Scherzinger and the late DMX.

Liv Nervo, one half of the NERVO sisters, recently revealed in an interview that the Australian duo was in motion to complete a decade-old Avicii collaboration called Let Me Show You Love (Dont Give Up On Us). But due to rights holdings, she tells Billboard, the project in motion appears to be more a remake of the song than a release of the known version, and will not include any of Aviciis contributions.

It’s a completely new track, Liv Nervo says. None of Tims chords or parts are being used.”

This explanation adds context to a May 8 interview between Liv Nervo and Mexico-based DJ and journalist Trino Treviño, who asked about plans for the old Avicii collabs release.

Liz Nervo confirmed that the duo -- she and her sister Mim -- are currently working on Let Me Show You Love (Dont Give Up On Us), noting that the, Were still working on the production, because we cant get it right. Its really difficult to get right, but its going to be amazing though.

She continued by noting that theres so much pressure involved in regards to working on a record with so much history.

A representative of the Avicii estate tells Billboard that the song in question is absolutely not an Avicii track and has not been approved for release by the late producers estate. A representative for NERVO confirms that the duo owns the songs topline lyrics and melody, which they wrote for Avicii, while the Avicii estate retains ownership of the underlying composition.

“It isn’t an Avicii collab, Liv Nervo explains to Billboard, because his family won’t allow us so, we’re just remaking an old song we wrote which Tim did a track to. He called it Enough Is Enough, but the original song is called Let Me Show You Love.”

Bootleg versions of the urgently bombastic EDM track exist under both names online, with a video of Avicii performing the song at Tomorrowland 2011 listed under Enough Is Enough (Let Me Show You Love). Both Liv and Mim Nervo can be seen singing along in the video.

The Avicii estate has previously confirmed that there is a large amount of unreleased Avicii music, although whether or not it will ever be released remains to be seen. The work on the 2019 posthumous Avicii album, Tim, was completed by several of producers closest collaborators who had been involved with the making of the music before the artist born Tim Bergling committed suicide on April 20, 2018.

I get sad every time I work on it, Liv Nervo continued in the May 8 interview with Treviño, because to think what happened to him and what a genius he was -- I wish he was alive and we could release it together.

NERVOs representative adds that Let Me Show You Love (Dont Give Up On Us) will be a NERVO release at some point in the future yet to be determined.

Erykah Badu is a little confused by her results from a recent COVID-19 test.

On Friday (Nov. 13), the Grammy-winning songstress shared on social media that she was ultimately given a clean bill of health after multiple tests over 24 hours, but that previous results strangely showed she had tested both positive and negative.

No symptoms. Was tested for COVID. Same machine. Left nostril positive. Right nostril negative, Badu tweeted. Maybe they need to call Swiss Beats so they can do a versus between them. Funny thing is, Dr. ONLY reported the positive result. What the fack is goin on here.

The Afro Blue singer shared a screenshot of the contradictory test results and noted that she and her band regularly take coronavirus tests prior to livestream broadcasts.

What an inconvenience to be tested positive then negative 3x after within 24 hours. Same test. We understand that they aren’t 100 accurate but this is strange, she tweeted.

Badu isnt the only celebrity experiencing unusual COVID test results. Earlier in the day, Elon Musk tweeted that he went through the same ordeal.

“Something extremely bogus is going on,” the Tesla and SpaceX founder wrote. “Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD.”
