A 47-year-old Regina man is charged following a fraud investigation involving several victims and losses exceeding $50,000. Multiple individuals between April and September 2025, entered into agreements with Sask Abatement to perform residential renovation, abatement, landscaping, and construction work. After receiving quotes and signed contracts for the proposed projects, the victims provided deposits by bank draft and e-transfer. According to investigators, some of the work was never started, while other projects were partially completed and several properties were left with unfinished work after the accused, 47-year-old Jeremy Jordan, stopped showing up at the job sites. Victims reportedly asked for refunds, but were not fulfilled. Jordan was arrested on June 3 without incident following a traffic stop. He is charged with fraud over $5,000, criminal breach of trust, and laundering proceeds of crime. He made his first appearance in Regina Provincial court on June 4.
