An investigation into a reported threat to a local high school has been determined to be false, the Regina Police Service (RPS) says. Officers received a third-party report the evening of March 21 about a potential threat at a high school on the 2300 block of 25th Avenue. According to police, officers immediately began investigating the report. Following a “thorough review” of the details, officers determined the threat was not credible and there was no danger to students, staff, or the school itself. To ensure a “smooth start” to the week, School Resource Officers from other schools met with administrators Monday morning and were on site for the start of the school day. There were no disruptions to the school day.
