The Regina Police Service (RPS) has charged another person in relation to a shooting that injured an 11-year-old girl early last month. On Thursday morning, police arrested and charged Amber Jensen, 29, with accessory after the fact and conspiracy to commit murder. She made her first appearance on the pair of charges Thursday afternoon. Jensen is the fifth individual to be charged in connection to the Aug. 11 shooting. She joins Michael Mayer, 41, Anthony Nahbexie, 20, Devon Nahbexie, 18, and Noah Pollock-Mayer, who is also 18. All face charges of attempted murder and counts related to firearms and possession of stolen property. Police were initially called to a home on the 1000 block of Edgar Street shortly after 2 a.m. on Aug. 11. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an 11-year-old girl inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound. The police service later determined that up to 20 shots were fired at the house in a “targeted” shooting. In its update on Thursday, RPS thanked the public for its assistance over the six-week investigation into the shooting.
