The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is investigating after a water-related death on Lake Diefenbaker over the weekend. On Saturday, June 6, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Outlook RCMP received a report of the incident. Officers, along with local paramedics, responded to the scene. On June 7, an RCMP underwater recovery team removed a man from the water. He was declared dead at the scene. The victim was identified as a 30-year-old man from Saskatoon. His family has been notified. According to RCMP, the incident is considered a sudden death with no element of criminality. As a result, no further details were provided.
